Deputy Taiwan Manager/Advertising Sales Manager
Job responsibility:
Hong Kong based Ringier Trade Media is looking for an experienced manager to join our highly successful advertising sales operation in Taiwan. Based in Taichung the manager will be responsible for a sales and marketingsupport team that handles advertising sales for our 34 leading industrial trade magazines serving the China , S.E. Asia and Middle East/Africa markets , 5 industrial publications co published in India plus handling ad sales for over 30 trade titles that circulate in Europe, North America and Latin America. Industries covered range from plastics, packaging, metalworking, food processing, to a variety of chemical industries.
In addition to the print portfolio is a range of online products and services that are becoming more important to the company in terms of present and future revenue generation. The company also holds 20 leading technical conferences in China every year, thus enabling us to offer clients a complete multi media, multi market communications solution for Taiwan based machinery exporters.
Reporting to the current Taiwan Regional Manager as well as the President who is Hong Kong based, you will eventually assume the role of Taiwan Manager.
Job requirement:
You must have at least 5 years of sales & management experience, ideally in advertising, though candidates from an industrial back ground with strong sales & marketing experience would be considered. You are a strong manager, a true leader and can communicate well in spoken English as well as Chinese. You must also be experienced in recruiting, training and motivating a sales staff, and be highly motivated by results .You understand and a familiar with the role of online media. You lead by example and are active in the field and be willing to invest time and effort on sales calls with your staff. This position is based in Taichung. We offer an excellent package of salary, commission and bonus. Occasional travel to China and other countries is required.
